The Cameron Method Coaching Platform

The Cameron Method, a science-backed fitness coaching business in London, ran its coaching on spreadsheets and WhatsApp. We built a platform with a client dashboard, a coach panel and an AI assistant trained on the coach's own knowledge, so every client and every conversation lives in one place.

The challenge

Coaching run on spreadsheets and WhatsApp

Check-ins, weigh-ins, food logs and questions all arrived by message and were tracked by hand in spreadsheets. Nothing lived in one place, so following a client's progress or answering a question meant scrolling back through chats.

What we built

One platform for the client, the coach and the conversation between them

01Client dashboard

A client's whole week on one screen

Each client logs in to an overview of their week: weight over the last seven days with the change, calories burned today, calories left against their daily target for every day of the week, their current weight, their latest personal best and a feed of recent activity. Every number is something they logged themselves.

  • Seven-day weight trend with the weekly change
  • Calories left against target, day by day
  • Latest personal best and recent activity in view

02Nutrition and weight

Food and weight logged daily, against targets the coach sets

Today's progress shows calories, protein, carbs and fat against the targets set by the coach. Clients log food from a searchable database or enter macros by hand, and the diary groups the day by meal with a running total. A nutrition overview charts macros or calories over 7, 14 or 30 days, and weight tracking keeps a daily log with a 30, 60 or 90-day trend.

  • Calories and macros against coach-set targets
  • Food diary by meal from a searchable database
  • Weight log with a trend over 30 to 90 days

03Check-ins and PRs

A weekly check-in the coach actually replies to

Every week the client submits a structured check-in. The history shows each week with its average rating and whether the coach has replied, so the feedback loop is visible to both sides. Personal records are logged per exercise with a progression chart, and progress photos have a section of their own.

  • One structured check-in per week, with history
  • Coach replies marked on each check-in
  • Personal records with a progression chart per lift

04Coach panel

Everything that needs the coach, in one inbox

The coach panel opens on what needs attention: check-ins awaiting feedback, clients who have not checked in this week, unread messages and new applications. Messages sit in a single inbox with unread counts per client, check-ins can be reviewed in place, and applications move through new, contacted, converted and rejected with a conversion rate on the overview.

  • Pending check-ins and missing check-ins flagged per client
  • One messages inbox with unread counts
  • Applications pipeline with statuses and conversion rate

05AI assistant

Client questions answered in the coach's voice

Clients ask about their plan, calories, macros and training in the in-app chat. An AI assistant fed with the coach's own knowledge of nutrition and training answers as the coach would, so routine questions get a fast reply and the coach steps in where it matters. It runs inside the same chat, so the client sees one conversation.

  • In-app chat between client and coach
  • Assistant trained on the coach's own nutrition and training knowledge
  • Routine questions answered fast, in one conversation

The outcome

The spreadsheets and the scrolling are gone

Clients log weight, food, activity, check-ins and personal records in one place and talk to their coach in the same app. The coach sees who needs attention, reviews check-ins and replies from a single panel, and the assistant handles routine questions from the coach's own knowledge. No results have been measured yet.
