Bridge Voice integrations
Connecting HubSpot
Send every call, new lead and booking your agent handles straight into HubSpot as contacts, call activities, notes and meetings.
The HubSpot connection keeps your CRM up to date without anyone typing calls up afterwards. When a call ends, Bridge Voice recognises the caller as an existing HubSpot contact (or creates one), logs the call on their timeline, adds a note for new leads and logs confirmed appointments as meetings. It is an event connection: you connect it once, choose which agents can use it, and it runs in the background. It does not change where your agent books appointments - that stays with your primary calendar.
Before you start
- A HubSpot account where you are a Super Admin, or a user with App Marketplace permissions - HubSpot only lets those roles connect apps.
- A Bridge Voice account with at least one active agent. HubSpot is available on every plan.
- The connection uses your contacts: HubSpot will ask you to approve reading and writing contacts (calls, notes and meetings are covered by the same permission).
- Bridge Voice is not yet listed on the HubSpot App Marketplace, so HubSpot shows a short "unverified app" notice during installation. That is expected: review the permissions, then confirm to continue.
Install the app and connect your HubSpot account
- 1
Open Connections in Bridge Voice
Go to your dashboard, choose Connections and open the HubSpot tile, then press Connect HubSpot. You are sent to HubSpot's own secure sign-in page.
- 2
Choose the HubSpot account
Sign in if needed and pick the HubSpot account you want to connect. If you manage several accounts, choose the one your team works in every day.
- 3
Review the permissions and connect
HubSpot lists what Bridge Voice is asking for: read and write access to contacts. Press Connect app. If HubSpot notes the app is unverified, confirm that you accept to continue.
- 4
Back in Bridge Voice
You return to the Connections page with the HubSpot tile showing Connected and your HubSpot account number. Nothing is sent until you choose an agent in the next step.
Choose which agents use it
- 1
Tick the agents under Agent access
Open the HubSpot tile and tick each agent whose calls should reach HubSpot. Your choice saves as you go. With a single agent, tick that one.
- 2
Press Test connection
The tile confirms that HubSpot still accepts the connection and shows when it was last verified. You do not need to pick HubSpot anywhere in Call handling - it is not a booking calendar.
What Bridge Voice sends to HubSpot
- Contact matching: after a call, Bridge Voice looks for the caller by email, then by phone number in its common spellings (for example +44 7700 900123 and 07700 900123). If nobody matches, it creates a new contact with the details the caller gave.
- Calls: every completed call is logged on the contact's timeline as a Call activity with the direction, duration, the caller's number and the call summary.
- New leads: when a caller leaves an enquiry, a Note with the service they asked for and a short summary is added to the contact's timeline.
- Bookings: appointments your agent confirms are logged as Meetings with the start and end time. If the appointment is moved during the same call, the meeting is logged as rescheduled.
- If HubSpot is briefly unavailable, Bridge Voice retries automatically over the following hours. The HubSpot tile shows the last successful delivery and flags anything that needs attention.
Bridge Voice reads contacts only to match callers and writes contacts, calls, notes and meetings. It never deletes or edits other HubSpot records, and it never sends call recordings or transcripts to HubSpot - only the summary shown in your Bridge Voice call history.
Disconnect or uninstall
- 1
Disconnect in Bridge Voice
Open the HubSpot tile and press Disconnect. Bridge Voice stops sending new calls, leads and bookings immediately and forgets its HubSpot access. Everything already written to HubSpot stays in HubSpot.
- 2
Uninstall in HubSpot
In HubSpot go to Settings, then Integrations and Connected apps, find Bridge Voice and choose Uninstall. This revokes Bridge Voice's access on HubSpot's side; the Bridge Voice tile will then show Reconnect until you connect again.
After your first test call, open the contact in HubSpot: you should see the call on the timeline within a minute. If the HubSpot tile says a delivery needs attention, the message shown is HubSpot's own reason - most often a permission removed on the HubSpot side - and Test connection tells you whether reconnecting fixes it.
